Sundays are really important in the weekly rhythm of First Comber. It's the moment where the community gathers to share with God and each other the best and worst bits of our week; to hear from His word and to join together in celebration for all that He is doing in us and through us.

It's a family affair, so it's more important that you're there than what you wear! Dress as up or as down as you want, sit wherever you like, chat to anyone sitting nearby, ask as many questions as you want, if you need to leave early or arrive late, no problem and if you have babies or children - brilliant - they'll be in good company.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Sunday morning's start at 11am, but there's tea and coffee on the go from 10:30am. We officially finish at 12pm but feel free to hang on, there's more tea and coffee and maybe even a homemade bun or two if you're lucky!

There's always someone on each door to say 'hi' and give you a quick guide to everything. The service itself is family orientated starting with songs and stories for our younger members, before they head out to age-based youth programmes. The rest of the service is a mix of teaching from the word, prayer and worship, led by our band.

Don't worry if the format is unfamiliar - there are no rules - so stand up, sit down or kneel whenever you want!

SUNDAY EVENINGS

Sunday evenings are more like a small group or as we call them 'life-groups'. They are open to everyone and it's a chance to go deeper into God's word with a mix of worship, teaching and discussion.

They are also a great way of meeting new people at First Comber and building relationships.

They start at 6:30pm and finish officially at 8pm but, as with most things at First, there's a healthy offering of tea and coffee to keep you there for a while longer.

To find out when the next Sunday evening Life Group is taking place speak to Grant or else contact the office.
