We are a multi-generational Christian fellowship based in Comber, County Down. Part of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, we've been part of the local fabric for nearly 400 years but we have changed a lot since 1645. Today we are a modern community of faith that hopes to act like a family should - kind, welcoming, fun and loving.   We want to create a space where everyone feels at home and be an active part of our local community - helping to share the Good news and, if necessary, using words.

Our CHURCH FAMILY

First Comber is a growing church with over 300 members part of our Sunday gatherings, as well nearly 200 young people participating in our weekly youth programme. Like any family, we're all different, so we have a diverse range of events and gatherings to make sure we connect with God and each other in the spaces best suited to us. Whether that's a women's fellowship group, a worship event, a bible study, 5-a-side football or Youth fellowship.

As a famous theologian said; “the church is the only institution in the world that exists primarily for the benefit of its non-members”. At First we aim to bring that to life by sharing Jesus, following Jesus and serving Him in our community. I hope you get a flavour of this as you go through our site. Hopefully I’ll get the opportunity to meet you in person soon.”
